Before Twin Canyons was a resort, it was a cattle ranch, and it still is. Every morning our registered Texas Longhorns and Herefords work the same pastures, ponds and limestone bluffs that you’ll see from your porch. Matthew and Kim Bays built Twin Canyons Ranch so families, teams and friends could live a few days of real ranch life without giving up a good bed or a great meal.
Here, the Brazos River runs for a mile and a half along our land. When the sun drops, the frogs and crickets take over and the stars come out like you haven’t seen them in years. Days fill up with UTV and feeding tours, fishing, hiking, sporting clays and, in season, dove hunts. Nights end at Black Star Grille, around a bonfire, or under a sky full of stars. Whether you’re bringing your leadership team, your whole family or a hunting party, Texas has a place built for gathering, and it’s right here between Granbury and Glen Rose.
Black Star Grille & Live Music
Ranch-to-table, the Texas way: our Bunkhouse Burger is made with Twin Canyons Beef from our own herd. The Grille is indoors and climate-controlled, with free live music every Friday from 7 to 9 PM and College Football Saturdays starting at 11 AM. Rain or shine, the Grille is open.
