Friday hours and free live music
Black Star Grille is open Friday from 4:30 to 10 PM. Happy hour runs 4:30 to 6 PM. Free live music is 7–9 PM CT. The November 13 “Dinner, Drinks, and Live Music” event window on the calendar runs 4:30 to 9:00 PM; Dean Willeford’s set is listed separately as 7:00–9:00 PM CT. Event tiles mark the gathering window—they are not the same thing as restaurant closing time or every minute the band is on stage.
No ticket is required for Friday live music. Parties of ten or more should call (817) 857-2624 ahead so the floor plan and kitchen can keep up.

Dean Willeford takes the stage for free live music from 7 to 9 PM CT. That booking comes from the ranch’s event listing (“Live Music: Dean Willeford”) and the public events page. If you saw an older social calendar with a different Friday name, trust the current ranch events list for November 13.
The room is the Black Star Barn—a 6,000-square-foot restaurant, bar, and whiskey-barrel stage. It is open to the public as well as resort guests. Locals from Granbury, Glen Rose, and Pecan Plantation pull in for the same reason overnight guests do: good music without a downtown parking hunt.
What to eat and drink
Burgers are made with beef from the ranch’s own Longhorn and Hereford herd. The current menu also lists steaks—Filet, Ribeye, NY Strip, Sirloin, and Surf and Turf—plus appetizers, cocktails, beer, and wine. Happy hour is the easy early window if you want to eat before the set starts. Stay as late as Friday hours allow; the band’s listed set ends at 9 PM CT; Friday restaurant hours continue to 10 PM.
